May 13, 2019 -- After dropping out of high school and working her way back to a GED, Karen Abshire-Gordon wasn't sure she was college material. This month, she graduates with a bachelor's in psychology from Wichita State University.

April 30, 2019 -- Wichita State alumnus Chris Rempe graduated just seven years ago, but is already making an impact on WSU and local industry.

April 15, 2019 -- Brady Hatter sees the university campus as a giant garden. And every garden, he says, is a potential gallery in need of art. This Earth Day, Hatter will make his latest artistic contribution to the Wichita State canvas when his Earth Pod west of the Woodman Alumni Center is dedicated as part of the Earth Day Picnic at the Pod from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 22.

Dec. 6, 2018 -- During the fall semester, WSU first-year seminar students had the opportunity to enroll in Beal’s six-credit-hour JUMP!STAR class, co-taught by Ferrandi.

Nov. 27, 2018 -- Despite the wintry weather, students planted new “flowers” on campus this week as part of the Wulip Garden placemaking initiative aimed at creating a unique and inviting environment for campus visitors.

July 12, 2018 -- Wichita State student Mary Alexis Wirths is spending her summer interning with Harvester Arts, a nonprofit organization that brings artists from across the nation for two-week residencies in Wichita.

May 24, 2018 -- Student aerospace engineering teams work hard every year to develop a functioning aircraft that will fly and complete a mission in the annual Bronze Propeller Competition.

April 5, 2018--Spirit AeroSystems and Wichita State University announced a new collaboration agreement, bringing with it new opportunities for students and the area workforce.
